Soil and water testing laboratory
Laboratory testing for engineering investigations and foundation design.
Testing programme
We agree the required tests, accept and register samples, perform the programme and issue test records. Testing can form part of a combined investigation or be commissioned for samples already collected.
Laboratory work
- Sample acceptance, identification and preparation.
- Physical properties of soils under the agreed test programme.
- Strength and deformation characteristics.
- Chemical testing of soil and water where included.
- Processing and reporting of test results.
Before delivering samples
Send the test programme and sample schedule. Each sample needs identification, sampling location and depth, sampling date and available ground description. Agree the required quantity, packaging and sample condition before delivery.
Using the results
Laboratory records describe the samples tested. The engineering report brings them together with borehole logs, field tests and groundwater observations. Test methods, sample numbers and sample readiness determine cost and timing.
Discuss your project
Send the site location, a plan or a brief description. We will help define the scope, deliverables and price.
